What is P90X?

P90X is a workout program that you can do at home. It consists of 12 different DVDs with routines that are designed to give you a full-body workout. This is very beneficial for beginners mainly because it helps to gain muscle mass and lose fat at the same time.

The program also uses resistance bands to supplement the regular exercise. This helps you burn a lot more calories than you normally would. The resistance bands are the real deal when it comes to muscle toning and even burning fat that is underneath the skin.

There are 12 different DVDs in a box set. They consist of three rounds, with the first round ensuring that you get the best results so that you have the motivation to keep coming back to it.

Round one has one DVD and it consists of 90 minutes of workout.

The next round consists of your three DVDs and these consist of a workout session that lasts for 60 minutes.

The third DVD is the last workout session, and it lasts for 30 minutes.

This program is suitable for people who are in the beginning stages of working out. It has nutritional guidance that goes along with it, but you will probably need to know a few things about diet before you start the program.

It does not matter what you look like when you start the program. As long as you are willing to fully commit, you will find that you can lose a lot of weight and keep it off.

10 Reasons to Try P90X System

There are a lot of great workout programs and infomercials on TV claiming that they can get you ripped in a short amount of time. But all too often their promises are not fulfilled. The fact is that in order to build a solid base of muscle, muscle fibers, and work capacity (anaerobic endurance), most of these 90-day programs simply don’t give you enough time to achieve optimal results.

If you’re looking to get into the best shape of your life, there’s no reason that you have to spend your life in the gym. In fact, the P90X workout has a system that is designed to get you in the best shape of your life in 90 days or less.

If you follow the program exactly they way the designers laid it out, you simply won’t waste any time on ineffective or inefficient exercise programs.

They combined the added muscle and endurance building value of strength training with the stamina building speed of cardio. This system takes about an hour a day, and with the muscle building efficiency, you’ll get results four times faster.

Forget about building that base, and then trying to put on muscle. A one-two punch, strength and stamina training brings the results in half the time.

Athlete-level workout

If you would like to tone up, get muscle definition, lose fat, reduce your blood pressure, increase your stamina, and build a body that will make you feel 10 years younger but look “just” five years younger, you were born at the perfect time.

It just so happens that a new workout program has been circulating around the globe – within hours of hitting the internet, it was everywhere. And that new workout program is called P90X — created, marketed, and distributed by Tony Horton, one of the world’s fittest men.

P90X is not your typical workout. Most of us assume that the only way to get a great body is to spend hours in the gym doing your regular lifting, pushing, and stretching.

But, the truth is that the majority of people who work out in the gym are only working out to benefit their hearts. While we are all for heart health, there are many body parts that need to be brought back to life (or brought into existence) once and for all!

What is P90X?

The P90X workout is an exercise program based on interval training combined with the most effective fitness principles that have been proven to work. Tony Horton, the creator of P90X, is the general of this fitness army.

Burning calories all day, every day

If you want to get ripped, you have to burn fat. That means burning more calories than you take in. When you first begin P90X Workout, you may be frustrated. You’re only getting half an hour of pure exercise each day. However, the program is designed to keep your metabolism high, which burns more calories throughout the day.

A valuable P90X workout tip is to create an “afterburn” effect. This means consuming more calories than you burn every day.

For example, if you burn 2,000 calories a day and eat 2,300 calories a day, you are creating an afterburn effect. It can be hard to calculate exact numbers, but for the most accurate afterburn effect a small margin is recommended. If you burn 2,000 calories a day, try to eat up to 2,200 calories. This will consume more calories than you burn and keep your metabolism high.

It never gets boring

Over 15 years ago, fitness guru Tony Horton produced this breakthrough workout for weight training. It has become the foundation for over 8 million people around the globe looking to get into shape. P90X offers a system that combines resistance training, cardio and yoga.

It is designed to give you freedom to design your own schedule. For the best results, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with some type of nutrition plan.

A key benefit to using this workout is the fact that is incredibly flexible in terms of the amount of time you can dedicate to each session. You can mix and match the workouts to accommodate your schedule.

The aim of the program is to give you 15 results in just 30 days. You can expect to gain lean muscle and lose fat. The program also helps you get into the best shape of your life by giving you strength, energy, and endurance.

The system is broken down into three phases.

The Alpha Phase is designed to help you focus on training and muscle building using basic instructions.

The Beta Phase is a transition phase in which you will learn to stabilize your progress using the workout program.

The Alpha and Beta phases are combined and form the X Phase, which helps you to reach your peak performance.

The workouts in the X Phase get progressively harder as you progress.

The program is designed to keep you interested by constantly providing you new challenges.

A true challenge to take on

The P90X is unlike any boot camp available. It is completely tailored for the individual and uses a variety of different techniques to get the best results possible.

What makes P90X different from other workout programs is the level of challenge you can offer to your body. It is a new challenge every day and it gets harder as the days progress.

What separates this workout from other programs is that it is able to appeal to all fitness levels and ages. You may have just completed a marathon or some other fitness campaign or you may be physically accustomed to these types of workouts.

The best reason to get the P90X is the fact that there is a vast multitude of fitness routines to choose from for perfecting your body.

More than just workouts

Tony Horton was one of the first fitness experts to understand how to meld social media into his business. It is no coincidence that Facebook, Twitter, TV, communications, and online courses all come up in conversation while discussing the brand. P90X is much more than a workout, it is a goal oriented group fitness program that is designed to help you achieve your ultimate body with daily workouts.

How Does It Work?

Tony Horton is the creator of the P90X workout system. According to the P90X website, he is the “world’s most successful fitness trainer”. A lot of trainers like to talk about their workouts, but Tony Horton backs it up with the numbers. He has an entire fitness franchise that sells DVDs, workout equipment, and specialty fitness courses.

The P90X system is a 90 day workout program that is targeted to people who want to lose weight and get ripped. The program is split up into three separate levels.

Level 1: Resistance and cardio training

Level 2: Cardio, resistance, flexibility training

Level 3: Yoga, cardio, resistance, meditation, flexibility training

Grow mentally

Spiritually, and physically.

With P90X, everything is about balance. You need something to grow spiritually because the rest of it gives you something to physically and mentally grow off of.

The P90X workout has helped millions of people become physically healthier and also learn how to become mentally and spiritually fit. This newly achieved physical fitness is the backbone of this entire program. That is how it helps you to achieve all three of those things that you can grow off of. It’s important to know that by getting ripped in 90 days, you also develop a strong connection to your body. You learn to show gratitude for it and the work it does for you throughout the day.

You will learn to appreciate it. It’s a journey of self-discovery that promises to help you with anything you are currently struggling with in your life.

You will find that your inner and outer beauty will be enhanced while you develop a new appreciation for the mind and body connection. This is not just about physical fitness, but mental wellness as well. You will be able to focus better and feel more empowered and confident.

It is also the vital component to staying committed and achieving your goals.

Keep those muscles growing

If you're short on time but want to get lean and toned fast, P90X is your best option. P90X is a DVD-based at-home workout program developed by Tony Horton to achieve just that.

The program consists of 12 different workouts that are intended to be done over the 90 days. Because of this, one of the biggest goals of P90X is to keep your muscles from getting used to the exercises so they continue to shock it and build more lean muscle over the course of 90 days.

The workout is designed to first use light weights to warm-up the muscles which is then followed by heavier lifting to increase muscle size. There is a higher focus on compound exercises that uses multiple muscles at a time which in turn burn more calories while working out. There are also some workouts that focus on purely flexibility.

The P90X workout is designed to be done three times a week, although that isn't mandatory. Many people will follow the program and only workout three times a week, especially the first few weeks since it takes some time to get back in shape before working out more often. If you prefer to workout four times a week, that's perfectly fine as well. Another great thing about the P90X program is that there are modifications for each of the 12 P90X workouts so that you can adjust them to whatever fitness level you have.

Lower risk of injury

Most new Beachbody customers are overwhelmed when they first see the P90X and then often disappointed since to them the Beachbody program seems too difficult, too much work and they don’t see the results that are promised. The good news is that you need to give it time and it actually does work!

Consistent power, strength and cardiovascular gains come from being able to perform every move, with easily understood form, from Point A to Point B!

Now, if you are over 40 or have never worked out regularly before, you may find it takes a few weeks to a few months of exercise to get to the level you need to be at to get these results. It’s not as complicated as many would like you to believe. There are a few simple rules to follow and if you commit yourself to following them for 90 days, you should be well on your way to ridding yourself of that stubborn 1 to 2 pounds per week and being able to remain “ripped” for years to come.

Well-rounded workout technique

The P90X workout program is an extreme workout program that features 12 muscle-building programs. Each exercise routine targets unique muscle groups as well as daily workout schedules that are followed.

Ten of the 12 programs in this program are unique in their own way, which is one of the biggest keys in achieving muscle growth and fat loss. The programs are divided into 3 phases. The first phase of the plan starts with muscle confusion, where users will experience muscle confusion. In turn, this will help ensure that no muscle group is not subject to proper rest. Fatigue is also very essential in muscle growth.

The second phase is the intensification phase, when you can expect your muscles to become more primed for hypertrophy. Specifically, this phase will have you focus on one primary area or body part that will help ensure that you are focused for maximum results.

The last phase of the program is the transformation phase, which can be considered as the final phase of this program. This phase helps ensure that even after the 90 days of the program are over, muscle confusion is still in place, ensuring that the results you have achieved thus far are available for the next 90 days.

Each phase of the program is divided into specific days of the week, which will help always focus on the objectives for that particular workout but does not focus too much on the results that will occur after the workout.

If you can do it, it’s gonna be fun

You know that getting in shape isn’t a quick or easy thing. Most people get so tired of getting nowhere that they quit before they start. But if you want to get ripped, the P90X workout is a great way to do it. When you use the P90X, you can get ripped in 90 days.

And this isn’t just marketing hype to get you to buy the product. This is a legitimate 90-day workout and diet program that guarantees you results. That is, if you use it.

There are three phases to the workout, all of which are worthwhile. The first phase is the introduction phase. It is designed to get you accustomed to the workout routine. And it is so fun. You won’t even know that it’s actually a workout.

Then they get harder, but they’re still fun. The workouts get harder because you get used to them and it’s easier to push yourself. The workouts are also made to work your whole body at one time rather than multiple parts at a time. That makes it easier to get into the routine.

There are also supplements and a nutrition plan to help you with your goals. A list of these can be found on the website with the P90X recovery drink, and the recovery matrix.

You Asked: Is P90X worth it?

It’s fair to say that Tony Horton knows how to get results. The P90X workout coach has been working out for decades, helping hundreds of thousands of people get results. This is achieved by working out multiple times per week, but also because he consistently makes small improvements based on client feedback.

Tony has made the program better and better over time, doing what he knows to be in his clients’ overall best interest.

Horton –does— P90X. He believes in this program 100% and wants to make sure that you do too. That’s why you can be ensured that if you buy this program, you’ll get results.

There are lots of P90X reviews out there, some positive and some negative. Let’s take a closer look.

Before writing this review, I read up on lots of P90X reviews online. I wanted to see for myself what is being said about this program.

Your Experience With This Workout System

Ben Kling joined the P90X workout program in 2006 and is currently finishing his third round of it. He has been a gymnast since he was six years old and was an All-American on the collegiate level for his sport.

He shares his opinions about the workout in the following article.

Five years ago, I took a 10 year break from weightlifting. In that time I worked hard to get healthy, lowering my cholesterol from 246 to 122 and reducing my medications from 9 to 2. I also lost approximately 75 pounds of fat. So why did I pick up another set of weights?

I got tired of being the fat guy with the low cholesterol and who could do 15 pull ups. So after some prompting from a friend, I bought a copy of P90X. I was skeptical that the creator was just a promoter of what could be considered a pyramid scheme. Then again, P90X also stood for Pounds and Inches. I had some extra weight to lose and some extra inches to drop or else…

When I accepted the fact that my love handles may no longer fit my pants, my fate was sealed.

The P90X results are astounding. Chained together in vigorous, high impact
